Keep reading to find out which model we recommend!

2020 Jeep Cherokee Power & Handling

The Cherokee's engine lineup is quite outstanding. The base engine, a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, pumps out up to 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. A second 4-cylinder engine is offered, this time a turbocharged 2.0-liter that delivers up to 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The final engine offered is a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 that produces 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. All three engines are equipped with standard front-wheel-drive but four-wheel drive is available. Jeep also mates all three engines with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission.

2020 Toyota RAV4 Power & Handling

There is only one engine option offered for the Toyota RAV4. This 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine delivers up to 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is offered for every trim level.

2020 Jeep Cherokee Features & Design

Drivers have five Cherokee trim levels to choose from in the 2020 model year. The base Latitude model comes packed with standard features like keyless entry and ignition, LED automatic headlights, Apple and Android smartphone integration, two USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, a six-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The upper trim levels, the Latitude Plus, Limited, and Overland, build on the Latitude with parking sensors, driver assistance features, a power liftgate, remote engine start, dual-zone climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, heated/ventilated seats, leather upholstery, and so much more! The Cherokee's Trailhawk trim level is outfitted with hill ascent and descent control, tow hooks, all-terrain tires, and increased ground clearance.

2020 Toyota RAV4 Features & Design

With the RAV4, there are six trim levels to choose from. The base LE model is outfitted with LED headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, a six-speaker sound system, and a USB port. The upper trim levels like the XLE, the XLE Premium, and the Limited add dual-zone automatic transmission, additional USB charging ports, keyless entry and ignition, a power liftgate, simulated leather upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen. The Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims come with taller roof rails, unique fender flares, a sunroof, off-road tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, and hill descent control.

It is clear that both of these SUVs have a lot to offer, but the 2020 Jeep Cherokee comes out on top with ease! The RAV4 really tries to keep up with the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trim levels but they just don't offer what the Trailhawk can.
