2022 Jeep Compass Trim Levels Announced
Jeep has revealed the newly redesigned 2022 Compass trim lineup, and it is sure to impress! The 2022 Jeep Compass will come in the Sport, Latitude, all-new Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited trims. Each trim brings new features for the 2022 model year to make it stand out from the rest. All trim levels feature a 2.4L I4 engine with 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, front-wheel drive is standard, but Jeep Active Drive full-time 4x4 is available to all trims. Sport
The 2022 Compass Sport features an upgraded exterior design that combines Jeep's iconic styling notes with premium craftsmanship. From the front, the fascia has been resculpted for a more pronounced appearance. The seven-slot grille has been upgraded and surrounded by redesigned standard LED headlights. The 2022 Compass Sport will also now feature 16-inch alloy wheels. The lower grille is larger, allowing for more engine airflow for maximum cooling. Inside, the Compass Sport's interior has also been completely redesigned. The dashboard has a reimagined aesthetic, with slimmer HVAC vents and an upgraded instrument panel. Many of the Compass's upgrades come from its technology features. Uconnect 5, five times faster than the current Uconnect 4 infotainment software, is displayed on the largest standard touchscreen in its class. The 8.4-inch high-definition touchscreen display has a fully customizable one-touch home screen. It offers standard features like wireless Apple/Android smartphone connectivity, five user profiles, and more. Type A and Type C USB ports are standard in the front row, while second-row passengers get a Type A port. A full suite of driver assists is also standard for the 2022 Compass Sport
Latitude
The Compass Latitude trim builds on the baseline Sport trim by adding interior features like push-button start, ambient LED interior lighting, a leather-wrapped shift knob, a premium-wrapped steering wheel, and premium cloth/vinyl leather seats. Outside, you'll find keyless entry, body-color door handles, heated power Gloss Black side mirrors, cornering LED fog lights, automatic headlights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Features that are made available to the Latitude trim include things like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, eight-way power driver's seat, rain-sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, remote start, a panoramic sunroof, and much more.
Latitude LUX
The Latitude LUX upgrades the interior with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, an eight-way power driver's seat with two-way lumbar support adjustment, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, remote start, and an automatic-dimming rearview mirror. This trim level also introduces the 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. This larger display is encased in a bonded glass lens for a seamless and high-tech appearance. The Latitude LUX also comes standard with Jeep Active Drive full-time 4x4, Selec-Terrain Traction Management, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Selec-Terrain system includes Auto, Snow, Sport, and Sand/Mud drive modes for a customized driving experience.
Trailhawk
The Trail Rated Jeep Compass Trailhawk provides an incredible driving experience both on and off the road. The adventurous Trailhawk comes standard with Active Drive Low 4x4 for off-road crawling control. In addition, the Trailhawk adds exclusive Rock mode to the Selec-Terrain dial, Hill Descent Control, a 1-inch factory lift for 8.6 inches of ground clearance, signature front and rear red tow hooks, high-strength steel skid plates, and rugged all-terrain tires on 17-inch alloy wheels. The exterior of the Trailhawk also stands out with a matte black and red anti-glare hood decal, a matte black upper grille, and a larger middle grille.
Limited
The 2022 Jeep Compass Limited is for customers searching for a premium feel from a compact SUV. The Compass Limited interior is black and Steel Grey with wrapped Sepia accents. The interior also features standard dual-zone automatic climate control, luxury leather seating, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with Satin Chrome Silver accents, a 7-inch full-color digital gauge cluster, and a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen. The exterior features include diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black pockets, Bright Chrome and Silver Painted accents, Bright Chrome roof rails, a Gloss Black roof, heated side mirrors with power adjustments and marker lights, rain-sensing wipers, and much more.
