OPTIMIZE EVERY RIDE
ELECTRIC MODE
When the battery has more than a 1% charge, it can run in Electric Mode. This allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The vehicle can run in this mode for up to 21 miles.
HYBRID MODE
The default mode, Hybrid, combines torque from both the 2.0L turbocharged engine and the electric motors. This combination provides maximum horsepower, instant torque and the best acceleration. Electric power is consumed first.

The Jeep Wrangler has been known for years thanks to its exceptional off-road abilities, and the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is no exception! You can find all the athleticism you need and more in the 2023 lineup. For example, the Rubicon trim comes with 33-inch all-terrain tires, a disconnecting front sway bar for better front-wheel articulation, and locking differentials for better traction. When properly equipped, the Wrangler 4xe can tow up to 3,500 pounds, and it can even ford up to 30 inches of water thanks to the waterproof seal on all of its electric components! Speaking of electricity, the real power can be found under the hood. There's a 2,0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, as well as two electric motors which get their power from a lithium-ion battery pack. The Wrangler 4xe can produce up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, and comes with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive.
What Drive Modes does the 2023 Wrangler 4xe Have?
The Wrangler 4xe is a truly innovative vehicle that helps you save energy in more ways than one! For example, you can drive for up to 21 miles solely on your vehicle's electric charge. You can also toggle among three available drive modes, Hybrid, Electric, and eSave. In Electric mode, you'll just be relying on the battery charge, and you can drive totally emissions-free. In Hybrid mode, you'll utilize both the gas tank and the battery at once, which creates the maximum amount of torque! Lastly, eSave mode will draw energy from the gas tank first, and then switch over to the battery pack when your gas runs low. This is a great way to save your battery power for later, if you're not sure when you'll reach your charging station. However with the help of the Jeep Level II charger, you can achieve a full battery charge in just two hours!
