Have you ever been to a car wash and had something happen to your vehicle in the process? Maybe a dent or your car antenna was knocked off, etc. I remember going through a car wash and the whole system malfunctioning and the car behind us got too close and bumped our vehicle. While there was no damage, this is still frustrating and should not be an issue.

While there is no guarantee that there will be any malfunctions when going through a car wash, there are some tips you can follow to help you through the process.

·         Brushless is best!

·         Avoid the after-wash wipe down as it's not guaranteed the attendants are using fresh and clean cloths.

·         Avoid paying for extras such as the spray-on wax.

·         Always make sure your car is okay before you leave the car wash. It's always good to be aware in case something does go wrong and it can be addressed properly and quickly.

If you would just rather avoid the automatic car washes altogether, consider doing it yourself through the spray washes or even at home. This can be a fun family activity as long as the weather cooperates.
