FCA offers COVID-19 Related Relief Actions

Brought to you by Grogan's Towne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

The global pandemic we currently face has turned the world upside-down, disrupted everyday life, closed schools, and sent health care workers and first responders into overdrive, which is why it is more important than ever before to come together as a community to help one another. FCA is doing their part by donating meals to school-aged children who have lost their main food source, donating face masks to front line workers, and using their social media platforms to honor essential workers, encourage people to stay home, and give parents tips on how to use their Chrysler Pacifica to entertain their kids. Learn all about FCA's COVID-19 related relief efforts by continuing on down below.

FCA on Social Media

FCA is using its vast social media reach to encourage drivers to stay off the road while also honoring frontline and essential workers. The Jeep brand's social media campaign is centered around the hashtag #StayOffTheRoad which encourages the off-road loving drivers of Jeeps to stay home. The brand has been using a variety of slogans including "the great outdoors isn't going anywhere," "with a little patience the views will get better," and "you're never too old to build a fort." Jeep also enlisted Bill Murray again for another commercial titled "Same Day." Ram is using its social media presence to honor farmers, utility workers, health care workers, first responders, delivery drivers, and other essential workers with its slogan #WorkFORHome. Meanwhile, Dodge is using #TheMuscleBehindUs while Chrysler is using #PacificaCampOut.

Donating Meals to School-Aged Children

A lot of children in America face food insecurity, which means they aren't always sure when and where their next meal is going to come. These children rely on the meals they receive at school so they not only don't go hungry but they also receive the nutrients they need to grow. With schools closing down across the nation these children are losing their main source of food, which is why FCA has partnered with non-profit organizations like No Kid Hungry to donate more than one million meals to school-aged children. FCA plans to start donating meals immediately to children around their main factories in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. The company then plans to expand its program to include donating meals to children across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

Manufacturing & Donating Face Masks to Front Line Workers

We are grateful for our front line works every day, and more so today during this unprecedented time. FCA wants to do what it can to help keep our front line workers healthy and safe, which is why the company set out to manufacture and donate over one million face masks. These face masks will be delivered to health care workers, police officers, EMTs, and other first responders who are in dire need of them. The company will work with local authorities to help determine the best place to donate these face masks to.
