This concept, of which there were many skeptics, turned out to be a home run for the company. Today, the Limited trim Rams are considered the standard for luxurious, comfortable trucks in the marketplace.
For 2022, Ram is recognizing a decade of their highly successful luxury truck manufacturing with the 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition. This vehicle will be especially special (can I say that?) because it will have the finest materials and technology yet in a Ram truck.
Mike Koval, the Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer, explains, "Ram 1500 Limited buyers have enjoyed the highest quality materials for a decade now and the Limited 10th Anniversary Edition ups the ante with the ultimate combination of capability, luxury and refinement in a truck."
What drivetrains are available in the 10th Anniversary Edition 1500?
The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition is available exclusively in Crew Cab configurations with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with eTorque mild-hybrid assist or available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. As with the current Limited trim, the 10th Anniversary Edition will be available in either 2WD or 4WD.
What will the Interior of the 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition be like?
Inside, the Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition is the most luxurious truck you will ever see. It boasts quilted (yes, quilted) leather-wrapped seats and door inserts, and a suede headliner and visor. On start-up, an animated 10th Anniversary graphic is shown on the driver's display panel.
The interior also receives a special Indigo/Sea Salt Gray color scheme accented with aluminum bezels. A custom shifter center cap with 10th Anniversary badge is also included. Some of the technology installed is: a premium 19-speaker audio system, 12-inch Uconnect display, automatic headlamps, heated exterior mirrors, supplemental turn signals, LED reading dome lamps, tinted sunscreen glass and rain-sensitive windshield wipers.
Are there any special colors available?
Yes, Ram almost always has a new unique color for their special editions. In the case of the 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition, a handsome Blue Shade paint color is available. See the image above.
