Just a few short years ago, Jeep introduced its first-ever plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. This SUV was revolutionary for the heritage brand, and perfectly demonstrates Jeep's commitment to a more sustainable future. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe maintains all of the iconic features of a classic Jeep, including a removable roof, removable doors, an athletic silhouette, and plenty of sporty features. However, it also adds an innovative powertrain which includes a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. New for 2023, there's also a new trim level joining the Wrangler 4xe lineup, called the Willys. The range includes the Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and High Altitude. Willys
As we mentioned above, the Willys trim is joining the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe lineup for the first time this year. You probably recognize the Willys from the classic Jeep Wrangler lineup, and many of those feature you know and love have carried over to the new 4xe version. For example, the Willys features 32-inch mud-terrain tires, adding extra traction for rugged terrain. The Willys also has black-painted wheels, a Willys decal across the hood, and a black grille surround for a sporty look. Other features include off-road suspension, and the Trac-Lok limited slip rear differential. It also offers the available Sky One-Touch power top.

Sahara
The Sahara is up next, and this model has all the essential features you need for a great driving experience! While the Willys has some sporty off-road equipment, the Sahara is a great choice for anyone's day-to-day driving needs. It features a cohesive exterior appearance with body-colored fender flares, and it sits atop 20-inch wheels. It comes with standard LED headlights and fog lights for excellent visibility, and it features blue front tow hooks for a sporty touch. Inside, you'll find a Uconnect 4 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and three E-Selec drive modes that you can choose from right from your dashboard. There's also a keyless entry system, and Selec-Trac 4X4.

Rubicon
The Rubicon picks up where the Willys left off, and it really takes the athletic features to the next level! The Rubicon has even more off-road equipment, suitable for your most adventurous drives. It features 33-inch all-terrain tires with off-road shocks and suspension, a limited-slip rear differential, and Lagoon Blue tow hooks. When properly equipped, the Rubicon can ford up to 31.5 inches of water, and its battery is waterproof sealed. There's a disconnecting front sway bar that gives the front wheels some added articulation, perfect for rocky terrain. Inside, you'll find that the seats are accented with "electric" blue stitching, a nod to the electric powertrain.

High Altitude
The High Altitude rounds out the lineup for the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. This model takes a different approach to the Wrangler design, adding in some sleeker, more refined features that create a bit more of a luxurious look and feel. The High Altitude has body-color fender flares, door handles, and a Freedom hard top, all of which create a cohesive look. Inside, the Uconnect 4 system adds a built-in navigation system, and there's also premium 9-speaker Alpine audio. The seats are upholstered in premium Nappa leather, complete with caramel-colored accent stitching.
